I am very excited that I am now writing for them! I'll be doing a fornightly piece; a Trend Report, Industry News or a Feature Article on a variety of topics...
So if anyone has any fashion related suggestions for me to write about, that would appeal to a wide audience, please let me know!

FD - Sunday 18th April 2010 - Central Saint Martins...
I was planning on waiting a bit longer before I wrote anything about my impending advetnture on here but to be honest I'm about to pop I'm so excited so it's come now!
In the summer I will be going to London for a week to do a course in Fashion Design at world famous Central Saint Martins! While I want to do journalism as a career, I still love fashion design and just getting a taste of life there will be just as useful and oh so exciting! Frankly I'm quite happy enough just being able to go to the same university as Stella McCartney, Hussein Chalayan and Matthew Williamson (just to name a few!) went to.
I will also be going to the industry day of graduate shows on the Saturday. I'll be sat with all the journalists I aspire to work with, with my little black book making notes for Parade... aahh!
I will be posting a diary entry every night for the whole week telling you what I've got up to during the day. Plus there'll be plenty about the shows and who I think are the new designers to watch out for!
Hopefully I'll have plenty of time for shopping too so no doubt I'll have tons of outfits to photograph and write about for here as well!
In the meantime watch this space!

FD - Tuesday 6th April 2010 - Thakoon
I picked up a beautiful blouse today in Raiders Vintage, perfect for the summer with its peachy floral pattern. But I can't help noticing a slight resemblance to a dress seen in Thakoon's S/S10 collection!

After his helping hand from Vogue, unbeatable advertising in the film, "The September Issue" and a collaborative with Gap, Thakoon has become one of the hottest designers around and his printed silk blend dress for this season is chic and timeless.
My blouse says Yessica in the label, a label which I actually know nothing about... But I have figured out how to style it.
Team the blouse with a must have buttery leather blazer for a look that is stylish and feminine, and add a bold necklace to stop it from looking dated.
Often the vintage clothes I buy are the wrong size so i just cinch the waists in with a belt. For this blouse, i've picked out the black details and chosen a patent black one. Wear it knotted for a look that is very now.

Finally the shoes. Definitely the only shoes to wear this season and with this outfit are peep toe cut out shoe boots. My favourites at the moment are these cream leather ones, tied with a gosgrain ribbon which go perfectly with my blazer.
